Amazon’s in-house fashion brand, The Drop, is known for crafting base models, whether it’s office wear or loungewear. I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from their limited-release influencer releases and am very happy with the quality, so when I saw the influencers behind the popular “I Buy and Like Things” Instagram buy a comfortable lounge, she said “Olivia Pope vibes” and I knew I had to give it a try.
The brand’s Alice Crewneck and Faith shorts The set has become an absolute staple for my weekly rotation, although it is still at an angle of about 95 degrees where I live. They were made from ribbed lightweight sweater fabric, but it was cold in my house and the suit made me feel both united and comfortable. The crewneck top has a stylish back slit and flared sleeves long enough to accommodate my arms, and the slip-on shorts have a high waist without drawstrings. Tops and shorts are available in nine colors, including beige, black, emerald, and gray — (which I’m complimented every time I wear it on Zoom).

The loungewear set is marked as machine washable, and I can attest to the fact that it does hold up when washed. Although there are no drying instructions, I have been laying these pieces flat to dry and keeping them in shape works well. I think one of the best parts of this set is that when it finally gets cold outside, I can take it out of the house and seamlessly transition to fall clothing. This sweater would look great with white jeans, and I could see myself running to the grocery store in a full set of white sneakers, too.
The only shorts that prevented me from buying the matching slacks version were my insinchings were long, and most cropped pants didn’t fit me, but I liked that you could mix and match colors and size three pieces. Now if only the weather were faster!
